I did not get my renewal notice in the mail? Can I still renew online?
Yes.  Just log onto the Online Licensing System, verify your credential, and then complete the process. You may not renew your license more than 45 days prior to the expiration date.

 

What is my user name and password?
If this is your first time renewing online or if you have forgotten your password, click on the 'forgotten password' link and answer the security questions that follow.  Although your username cannot be changed,  you will have the option of changing your password.

 

What education is required to renew my real estate license?
To review the education requirements for your active license, visit the Renewal Requirement section at www.red.state.nv.us/realestate/re_renewals.htm.

 

How much will my renewal cost?
You will be charged the same renewal fee as other methods of renewing your license. A small convenience fee will be added to your total, which will be displayed before you are asked to complete your transaction.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?
You may pay for your renewal by electronic check (be sure to have your routing and account number available) or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).

 

My license has already expired.  Can I renew online?
No.  You must renew in person if your license has already expired.

 

My license is currently in 'inactive' status.  Can I renew online?
Yes.

 

How do I submit my proof of education?
Requirements for education must be satisfied prior to renewing your license online.  Have your certificates ready, and enter the completed CE hours and course numbers, along with designations, in the appropriate section of the online renewal application.  It is your responsibility to maintain records of course completion to be submitted as proof, if necessary. I have switched Brokers since my last renewal.  Can I still renew online?
No, you cannot renew online if the business name or business address is different than the information contained in the online renewal system.  If your business name or business address has changed, you must renew your license in person.

 

How long will it take before I receive my renewed license?
You may check the status of your license anytime at http://red.prod.lookup.nv.gov. Please allow at least 2-4 weeks to receive your renewed license by mail at your Broker's office. If your license is not received, you may contact the Real Estate Division at (702) 486-4033, Option 1.

 

What are the hours to renew online?
Online renewal is normally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Renewal transactions performed online on the last day of the month must be completed and submitted BEFORE 11:55 p.m to avoid lapsing and incurring a late fee.  There is no grace period.  The Division recommends completing the renewal process as soon as possible to avoid last minute issues which may prevent your renewal.

 

Can I cancel my online renewal?
You may back out of the renewal at any point up until you click the submit button on the payment form.  No refunds will be made on completed transactions.
