A Provisional license is issued to the applicant that has not received a full background report. Once the Provisional Timeshare license or full Timeshare License is received by the project broker, the applicant is allowed to conduct timeshare sales or solicitations in accordance with the NRS/NAC 119A. A receipt of the application and application fee does not constitute an issued license.

Applicants must:

  • Show proof of a 14 hour NRS/NAC 119A time share course.

  • Show proof of passing the time share agent exam within one year of the application date. Contact PSI examination service at (800) 733-9267 or www.psiexams.com.

  • Show proof of electronic finger printing (see list of vendors form #619) or provide two fingerprint cards and a cashier check or money order for $45.00 made payable to the Department of Public Safety.  Fingerprint results are good for one year.

  • Provide a complete application form #519 and the application fee of $175.00 in exact change or check made payable to the Nevada Real Estate Division.

  • Provide a statement signed by the project broker to the validity of the applicant's reputation and attest that a background investigation was conducted by a reputable source.

  • Provide copy of background report conducted at the request of the timeshare project.

A Time Share Agent license is issued for a two year period and requires 6 hours of continuing education upon renewal of an active or inactive license.
